Our School Events

At Hope Memorial School, learning doesn’t only happen at the desk. Our school events bring children, families, teachers, and Ryvanz-Mia partners together to celebrate milestones, explore careers, share meals, and build lasting memories.

From birthday celebrations and career days to volunteer visits and special holiday programs, every event is an opportunity for children to Learn, Share, and Grow.

Our events bring joy and colour to the school year, helping children connect what they learn in class to real-life experiences in their community.

Moments That Make Our School Special

Below are some of the key events that shape the Hope Memorial School calendar and create unforgettable experiences for our preschool learners.

Birthdays & Special Celebrations

We mark children’s birthdays and special moments with simple celebrations, songs, snacks, and gratitude. Sometimes, older “big sisters” or visitors choose to celebrate their own birthdays by sharing food and drinks with our learners.

Career & Aspiration Days

On special career days, visitors and friends of Ryvanz-Mia share about their work, dreams, and life journeys. Children are encouraged to imagine their own future as teachers, nurses, pilots, farmers, and more.

Volunteer & Partner Visits

Friends and partners of Ryvanz-Mia Charity visit from Ghana and abroad to read stories, teach songs, donate supplies, or spend time playing with the children. These visits remind learners that they are loved and supported by a global family.

Holiday & End-of-Term Programs

At the end of each term and during special seasons, children showcase what they have learned through songs, recitations, drama, and simple performances. Parents and guardians are invited to attend, cheer, and celebrate progress.

School Meal & Sharing Days

Through support from Ryvanz-Mia Charity and friends, there are times when children share a special meal at school. These days teach gratitude, sharing, and the joy of eating together as one big family.

Community & Outreach Connections

As part of the wider Ryvanz-Mia family, some events link Hope Memorial School to outreach projects in the community—showing children the importance of helping others and caring beyond the school walls.
